Choosing Half Term Childcare
With Half Term fast approaching this October, choosing the right Half Term childcare or activity provider can feel daunting, especially if it’s your first time.
To help, we’re giving you a glimpse of what to expect when booking a first camp and sharing information on our fantastic Camp Leaders who will be there to support your children.
Preparing for Camp
When placing your booking online, you can share key information about your children including any behavioural notes. We encourage you to provide full details to ensure we can fully support your child and help them have a fun day at camp.
If you’d like to speak with a team member before booking to discuss specific requirements, feel free to contact us – we’re happy to help.
For children with allergies – all our camps operate a nut free policy onsite.
What to Expect
With an upcoming camp booked, it’s normal to feel both excited and a little nervous for parents and children! Rest assured you’re in safe hands.
Before the camp, you’ll receive all the key details: what to bring, directions, easy and secure drop-off and pick-up instructions and contact information for your specific camp.
Our Activity Camp Leaders
Providing Safe, Engaging and Fun Half Term Childcare
Many leaders come from sports, youth clubs, or childcare backgrounds. They’re chosen for their supportive nature and undergo specialised training, ensuring fun and engaging experiences. Many return each season, providing friendly and familiar faces.
Whether you’re joining us locally or on holiday, our friendly camp staff will be there to welcome you and help you settle in for a fun action-packed day (or week!).
Safety First
To ensure a consistently safe environment for your children, there will always be a paediatric first-aid trained staff member onsite, as well as a trained lifeguard on-duty for any swimming activities.
All staff are enhanced DBS and reference checked and receive safeguarding training that exceeds the standards set by Local Safeguarding Partnerships. We also ensure there is a minimum of one Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) trained team member onsite to support wider child welfare and safety.
Quality
We undergo regular OFSTED checks, as well as carry out our own regular ongoing internal checks to maintain standards throughout the season.
Parent feedback is of invaluable importance to us and which we actively encourage you to share. We’re proud to hold a high Trustpilot rating of 4.6 stars, with regular positive feedback from Parents.
